Well here we are. After a hectic term of running webinars instead of face-to-face conferences for work (thank you Covid-19…not), I have finally returned to my TAFE course, started in a fit of enthusiasm at the beginning of this roller coaster that is 2020.
At the beginning of lockdown, I was full of enthusiasm. “Great!”, I thought. As the kids before and after school activities were successively cancelled. “More family time! Time to do all those projects…”. Flash forward to six months later. The crochet and knitting projects did get completed (but not subsequent ideals of being a super knitter), but the enthusiasm of finishing a TAFE course in the 12 weeks it suggested was hijacked by the realities of working even longer hours while work adjusted to the “new normal”. So much for the spare time.
But, I am determined. If I start something I try to finish it. So I have one month to finish the last quarter of the last assignment. Come on girl! In my typical style however, instead of just starting another Facebook page, I have decided to try something that I am completely new at….blogging. Never done it, probably never will write again, but the purpose of this is to learn isn’t it? So…here goes nothing!
Oh, a question…why is it that every first post or every first line of code written ever has to say “Hello World” – why can’t it say something imaginative…like…”purple donkey”?
